"Just got off the phone with Mr. Charles Dwyer. First time having to get insurance on my own. Was nervous I was going to get all these things thrown in my face I didn't understand but he was able to explain everything in a very simple way and genuinely explained every option for savings he could. "I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Craig Ritchie – State Farm Insurance. My recent hail damage claim for my roof was denied despite clear, documented evidence of damage, including interior leaking that I had to patch myself to prevent further issues. What makes this even more frustrating is that my vehicle claim from the same hailstorm was approved and repaired through State Farm, which shows the damage was legitimate. According to the roofing company, the inspector who came out has a reputation for denying nearly all requests, and my request for a second inspection was also denied by State Farm. After multiple attempts to work directly with State Farm, I received nothing but repeated denials. Today, when I called the agency to speak with Craig and try to find a solution, the response was the opposite of what I expected from an agent who should advocate for clients. Ana, who is normally available and helpful, was suddenly unavailable, and I was told someone would call me back in one business day. At this point, it feels like communication has shifted and they are avoiding the issue now that I truly need their support. This experience has left me feeling unprotected and unsupported as a customer. I cannot recommend this agency based on how my claim and communication were handled."

Hail damage can be a mess to deal with, and the last thing we want is for you to feel like you’re dealing with it alone. Just to clarify, claim decisions (including approvals, denials, and reinspection's) are made by State Farm’s claims department, not the agency. But anytime a customer calls us needing help, we want to make sure we help in any way we can. I see in our system, that Gaby requested for claims to reach back out to you, so you should be receiving a call soon. In the meantime, I'm going to look into this and see if there's anything we can do from our side of things. Thanks for your input and I'll reach out to you soon! "
